When an issue is overwhelming, highly complicated or simply too large for a three rune casting, try the Celtic Cross. This casting reveals considerably more detail on the issue. On smaller, simpler concerns, the Celtic Cross tends to provide so much information that it confuses the rune caster. So, use this only when casting three runes is insufficient.
The Celtic Cross requires six runes drawn in the same manner as casting three runes. As you draw each rune, place them in the pattern of a Celtic cross in the order shown in the diagram.
The first rune drawn indicates how the personal self is affecting the issue. That personal self is the person this casting is for, not necessarily the rune caster.
The second rune shows the important aspects of the issue's past.
The third Rune represents what is evolving. If everything stays as they are without any new influences, this rune will show the most likely outcome. As mentioned before, this is not telling the future. This rune is only showing the direction the issue is presently moving.
The fourth rune represents the unseen forces that are the underlying causes of the issue. The reasons for the issue are unveiled here.
The fifth rune explains the obstacles confronting you with this issue. Often the true obstacles are not obvious.
The sixth rune represents the best that can be expected with this issue. Keep in mind that the best will only happen if all of the knowledge revealed is wisely used.
